Managing artist images

For: Admins and Editors

Make your artist profile picture perfect by managing any of these images:

• Avatar image: Your image in search results and the Spotify mobile app.
• Header image: The cover image at the top of your profile in the Spotify desktop app and web player.
• Image gallery: Images in the About section of your profile.

Add an avatar image

Note: You can’t remove your avatar image, but you can edit it.

Web browser

1. Log in to artists.spotify.com.
2. Click View Profile in the top-left.
3. Click the pencil icon in the top-right.
4. Under Avatar image, click Update.

App

1. Tap the profile icon in the bottom-right.
2. Tap EDIT IMAGE.

Your search image normally takes 24 - 72 hours to update. If it doesn’t update after 72 hours, restart the Spotify app a few times (it could be a caching issue).

Add a header image

Note: Your header image replaces the avatar image in the Spotify desktop app and web player.

1. Log in to artists.spotify.com.
2. Click View Profile in the top-left.
3. Click the pencil icon in the top-right.
4. Under Header image, click Update.

Manage your image gallery

Add, remove, or reorder images in your image gallery. You can add up to 125 images.

Web browser

1. Log in to artists.spotify.com.
2. Click View Profile in the top-left.
3. Click ABOUT.
4. Click the pencil icon next to Image gallery.

App

1. Tap the profile icon in the bottom-right.
2. Scroll down to About.
3. Tap EDIT next to About.
