Watch New Episodes of The Game Plan: Planning Your Tour, Life on the Road, Plus Social and Digital Campaign Strategy

January 23, 2020

We corral industry experts, as well as the likes of A$AP Ferg, Conan Gray, Tei Shi, and Trippie Redd to offer personal and practical insights on hot topics critical to any artist’s thriving career.

A new year, a new decade, and a brand new bunch of Game Plan episodes for you to binge! In previous seasons we’ve done deep dives into everything from how to get playlisted to the nitty-gritty of sync licensing, recognizing that it’s just as important to look after yourself and avoid creative burnout, as it is to be business-minded when it comes to your music.

For this season we went all out on touring with two episodes dedicated to the topic. It’s one of the most gratifying aspects of making music: the moment when an artist gets real face time with their fans. We talked to the likes of A$AP Ferg, Tei Shi, Japanese Breakfast, and Trippie Redd, as well as seasoned tour managers, agents, and label managers (like Nasa Hadizadeh from Cult Records and Jess Page from Mom + Pop Music), all of whom weighed in on their best practices when it comes to planning a tour, as well as how to navigate the craziness once you’ve hit the road.

For the other two installments of The Game Plan we honed in on how to build a social media campaign, as well how to use Spotify data to drive and amplify digital campaigns. Alongside industry experts and Spotify insiders, artists such as Conan Gray, TOKiMONSTA, and Color Theory stopped by to offer their insights from personal experience.
